Junior Development Squad
In our new term of junior club coaching, we are looking to introduce new training sessions for our junior players aged 8 to 13, who are ready for their next step in their tennis development. These training sessions will be focussing on improving technical skills, agility, coordination and mobility through drills and targeted exercises following a curriculum in every session.
If you have a junior player, who:
Is passionate about tennis and currently practises several times a week to improve,
would thrive doing drills/ repeated targeted exercises,
is willing to focus and concentrate,
brings a positive attitude to training and participates happily,
will aim to attend, arrive on time & prioritise every training session and practise additionally in their own time.
These classes may be of interest to you and your child.
Coach: Mantas Valiauga
Session times: 3pm, 4pm, 6pm Mondays and Wednesdays during the school term
Duration: 1 hour
Class size: 4 players
Fee: €12.50 per class (10 week term €125)
Player Selection Process
Please complete this form by 30th August 2026 if your child would like to join our Junior Term 1 Tennis Squad. As each squad will have a maximum of 4 places, we are collecting expressions of interest to help us to organise the groups and confirm places.
Once registration is closed, our Director of Coaching, our Junior Administrator, Coach Mantas and Junior Coach Matthew will meet to establish an order of merit of all players. This shortlist of players will be based on:
attendance in our club coaching programme
attendance in our additional activities including social tennis and Junior Hour activities
participation in competitions (junior ladder, RR 2025)
representation of SAPTC in Aces & All Stars, Stars & Stripes, InterClub Friendlies
positive attitude and sportsmanship
There will be 24 places (4 x 6 classes).
Places will then be offered to players on the list for term 1 commencing Monday 14th September or Wednesday 16th September. If need be, we will be holding a waiting list. Private PAYGO coaching with Coach Mantas or Coach Matthew is available for juniors (group settings or single) also.

The new school year is almost here, and we're delighted to share that junior coaching at St. Anne's Park Tennis Club is back in full swing. Sessions are now open for booking across Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, with something for juniors at every stage of the game.

Not sure which ball colour is right for your child? Red is our youngest/beginner stage, Orange is the next step up, and Green/Yellow is for more advanced or older juniors. If you're unsure, drop us a line at itoperations@stannesparktennis.com and we'll point you in the right direction.

Term 1 Registration pre-alert for parents
Just a quick heads-up that Term 1 registration will open this Thursday at 10am.
We have most of the Term 1 timetable ready to go, and there are a few changes this term due to temporary court restrictions while building work is taking place. We also want to make sure we can keep all of our children safe and happy on court.
This means that some classes will have a maximum of 8 children.
We'd really recommend having a look at the timetable/poster beforehand and choosing your preferred class and time. Registration will open at 10am on Thursday Morning, so you'll be ready to book when it goes live.
Some of the smaller classes can fill up quickly, and we'd love to avoid situations where friends who normally play together end up in different classes simply because they booked at different times.
Registration opens: Thursday at 10am.

2026/27 Membership Update
Our membership is now at capacity according to Tennis Ireland recommendations 2025 (150-200 members per court) and we will therefore not be able to offer further new memberships for the foreseeable future.
During May, current members were invited to renew their memberships with a strict deadline of 31st May, and following that we offered a limited number of new memberships to those on the waiting list in order of registration.
We will retain the current waiting list (which will remain closed) so if or when places become available we will offer them to those on the waiting list (in order of registration).
Please note that Trackside Tennis Cub in Baldoyle/Bayside charge similar fees and they currently have capacity for new members. If interested, you may contact them at tracksideltc@hotmail.com
Annual General Meeting

Membership waiting List 2026 / 27
The waiting list is now open and will close again at the end of April. If there is capacity in the club, membership will be offered to those on the waiting list in June.
